The private villas at Saint Basil Olive grove are between the villages of Almirida and Gavalochory on the north west coast of Crete. They make up a little community of beautifully designed villas nestling among 150 productive olive trees (aged from 3 years to 150 years) around which you are welcome to explore. The owners have a background in contemporary art and design and you will see many unique objects they have created dotted about the villas and outside in the olive grove itself. Everything they have made is from 'found items' in and around the area, re-purposed and re-modelled under the colourful Cretan Peasant Art influence.
